Call for Application; ASEAN in Today's World 2020 (AsTW 2020)

Greetings from ISC, UM!

We are pleased to inform you that International Students Centre (ISC), University of Malaya (UM) and Kyushu University, Japan (KU) will organise a-two-week short term program called ASEAN in Today's World 2020 (AsTW 2020) starting from 22 February - 05 March 2020 at Unviersiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

We would like to call upon all students from all over the globe to apply for this program. Those who are interested to join this program must submit the application form and all the related supporting documents requested to the organising committee by 27 October 2019. For more details about the program, kindly check out the poster and brochure below.

10th Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition (LKYGBPC)
by Singapore Management University (SMU)

Now open for submission, and on behalf of SMU, students from the University of Malaya are warmly invite to participate in it. Please note that submission deadline is 17 Nov 2019.

Organised by SMU’s Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the 10th LKYGBPC’s theme is “Reimagine Smart, Sustainable and Resilient Cities”, with a focus on sustainable urban innovations. The last edition of LKYGBPC in 2017 attracted close to 2,000 global participants from 310 participating universities across 68 countries.

This year’s competition offers up to S$1 million worth of prizes. The top 50 entries will be awarded with an all-expense paid trip for two persons to Singapore to partake in a one-week immersion programme “Young Global Innovators Summit” and to compete at the finals. An international panel of judges comprising industry experts and entrepreneurs will assess the submissions.
